Starting at the Mill of the Fleet, with a short presentation to put visual memories of the layout of the site and the finds from the excavation in people&#8217;s minds, we made our way to the hill on a gloriously sunny day. Split into groups and armed with notes of the key findings from the excavation, each group was given a part of the site (the Pictish carvings, the rock-cut basin, the vitrified ramparts and the interior summit) to explain to the rest.
