This new exhibition builds upon the previous one, by presenting more of the antiquarian background to the site, the processes by which the new finds were discovered in 2012,\u00a0the forgotten cultural legacy of Rheged and the subsequent emergence of Galloway in\u00a0the medieval period. These\u00a0new panels\u00a0were created\u00a0for the Gatehouse Development Initiative&#8217;s\u00a0<em>All our Stories <\/em>HLF project, which sought to build\u00a0on the local legacy of the dig.\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0understand that the Mill on the Fleet aims to add a further section of the exhibition\u00a0to cover the\u00a0activities of\u00a0Gatehouse Primary\u00a0School and the local volunteer guides who, as part of the same project, were trained to give guided tours of the site. I also understand that\u00a0author Stuart McHardy is giving a talk on\u00a0<em>The Picts of Trusty\u2019s Hill<\/em> at the Mill on the Fleet this Sunday (12 &#8211; 1pm), to discuss how his distinctive views of the Picts have led him to an interesting \u2018take\u2019 on the importance of Trusty\u2019s Hill.
